Arthur Seyss-Inquart

Nazi leader, born in Stannern, Austria-Hungary. Chancellor of Austria during the Anschluss (1938), he was appointed commissioner for The Netherlands in 1940, where he ruthlessly recruited slave labor. In 1945 he was captured by the Canadians, tried at Nuremberg, and executed for war crimes. Vintage 3.5 x 5.75 postcard photo, signed in fountain pen.
