Description

Charles Schulz

Original unsigned pencil sketch of Linus looking in a dictionary and using bread slices as bookmarks, with Schulz writing in the balloon above him, 'If you have to look up a lot of words in a big dictionary, Butternut bread makes good book marks!,' on an off-white 4 x 6 sheet. In fine condition. This drawing was originally done for an advertising agency in San Francisco around 1970, which handled an account for Butter Nut Bread, and was acquired from an agency employee.
