As Karl Donitz's representative, Jodl signed Germany's capitulation on May 7, 1945. He was later tried at Nuremberg, sentenced to death, and hanged for war crimes. One page order with an attachment to be disseminated by several listed officials. Document concerns a defense program for 1928, issued by the Forest Superintendant; the attachment mentions wood generators as part of the program.
