LS signed 'A. Burr,' one page, 7.5 x 9, April 24, 1788. Letter to his aunt Mary Clarke. In full, 'I find you by Carlos fourteen pounds. It would mortify me to believe that you had any disagreeable feelings in asking of me this or any other thing in my power.' In fine condition, with expected mailing folds, one through a single letter of signature, light show through from seal on integral second page and a few light creases.
