In full, 'I am so completely hampered and harassed [sic] with engagements for the very brief time I have to remain in this stupendous city that I can fix no time to see you. I shall go into the city tomorrow to arrange financial matters with the Rothschilds and then I will endeavor to find you at the consulate.'
