TLS signed 'F. W. Woolworth,' one page, 5 x 8, personal letterhead, March 3, 1913. Invitation to a friend. In part, 'I expect to give an informal dinner parry at my house in honor of Mrs. Woolworth's 60th birthday...Please let me know at once if you can attend.' The postscript reads, 'Please remember that the above dinner is to be given as a surprise and I hope she will not find out until the night of the dinner.'
