TLS, one page both sides, 7.25 x 10.5, Oceana Apartment Hotel letterhead, January 5, 1959. A chatty letter with typical Laurel content combining news of health and Hollywood. In part: 'I happened to see Adolph Menjou on the Linkletter TV show, I got a laugh too when he mentioned that the 'Derbies' were coming back in style - he probably forgot that Laurel and Hardy had still been wearing them for thirty years. He sure is a character - when he's dressed up, he looks funnier than LandH.! Hardy knew him very well, I only met him a couple of times, he looked a bit 'Screwy' to me.!!.' Double matted in removable corner tabs, with two glossy photos of Laurel and a copy of the front of the letter, to an overall size of 22 x 28. In fine condition, with a few light spots.
