Incredibly rare matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of a younger Hussein, signed in the lower border, in Arabic, black ink. Reverse of photograph bears a Baghdad photographers label and is housed in a silver coated frame adorned with the Iraqi seal, with an overall size of 9 x 12. Photo is housed in a deep red velvet lined box, with the gold Iraqi seal centered on the hinged cover. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from a Swedish youth council leader, who wrote to many world leaders to explain their work. Letter states, 'One day I got a call from the Iraqi embassy. They informed that they wanted to meet with us since they had a greeting from President Saddam Hussein...The ambassador...told me that this was a very official gift and that the president was impressed with our work.
