Description

Clara Barton becomes more involved in the Suffrage movement

Founder of the American Red Cross. ALS, eight pages on four adjoining sheets, 5.25 x 6, January 30, 1904. Letter to her sister. In part, 'We should all be good children, and not disagree anymore - that people don't expect us to disagree, and make trouble, and that we should divide the power and work peaceably. Or the representatives may be so flagrantly bad, as to call for actual censure and entire change. This is very possible.' In fine condition. RRAuction COA.
