Business check, 8.25 x 3.5, filled out in another hand and signed by Nelson, payable to Aviall for 445.20, October 18, 1985. Aviall, a Dallas based company which provides maintenance and distributes aircraft engine parts, supplied the parts for the plane in which Nelson was killed! This check was written only two months before Nelson's untimely New Year's Eve death in a plane crash. Cloth matted and framed with a color photo of Nelson and an interesting biographical plaque, to an overall size of 22.5 x 16.5. In fine condition, with single cancellation stamp to center of check leaving signature and surrounding area very clean. RRAuction COA.
