SRB Booster Separation Motor (BSM) heat shield cover. This ‘toilet seat cover’ heat shield measures approximately 20″ long when opened, with cover having a diameter of eight inches, and is stamped on the reverse, “S/N 4033.” This cover was one of four installed and flown on one of the shuttle missions.
