Apollo 8 'Updates' Book Page [Attested as Flown]

Description

Double-sided checklist page headed "Entry," 5 x 8, attested to as flown and deriving from James Lovell's flown Apollo 8 "Updates" book, dated November 26, 1968, and carrying numerous in-flight pencil notations. In fine condition. Accompanied by certificates of authenticity from Florian Noller, who states that this page was removed from Lovell's flown "Updates" book (SKB32100042-201, Serial No. 1003).

This checklist page comes from one of the most consequential flights in space history: Apollo 8, the first crewed mission to leave Earth orbit, travel to the Moon, and enter lunar orbit. Its in-flight pencil notations offer direct evidence of active use during the mission, giving the page exceptional immediacy as an operational artifact from humanity’s first voyage to another world.
