Original policy loan document relating to Lee Harvey Oswald’s life insurance policy with the National Life and Accident Insurance Company, one page, 8.25 x 10.5, circa 1951. Headed “Ordinary Department – Policy Loan Brief,” the document records a $58 loan against Policy No. 942137, the same policy later associated with the death claim filed by Oswald’s mother, Marguerite C. Oswald, following his murder in November 1963. The form bears various clerical notations concerning the loan and premium, with a handwritten instruction at the bottom, “Make ck payable to Marguerite C. Oswald, owner.” A purple ink stamp indicates that the loan was completed on September 26, 1951. Double-matted with a photo of Oswald being shot by Jack Ruby to an overall size of 20 x 13.5. In fine condition.
