(Walt Disney Studios, 1939) Original production drawing of Mickey Mouse from Society Dog Show, picturing the iconic mouse in a large full-figure pose with one eye closed and holding up his straw boater hat. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 12 x 10 animation paper marked "39-G" in the right corners. Character image measures 4.5 x 6.5. In fine condition. The cartoon is notable in that it was the last appearance of Mickey's older character design, primarily the dotted eyes in the design.
