(Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Dramatic original concept painting of Mickey Mouse from the 'Sorcerer's Apprentice' segment of Fantasia, showing the young wizard-to-be struggling to swim as magic brooms continue to fill up Sorcerer Yen Sid's inner chambers with buckets of water. Accomplished in gouache on black 6.25 x 6 artist's board. In fine condition, with tack holes to corners. A superb piece of concept art from one of Disney's greatest and most innovative films.
