Description

Official Twitter ‘Larry Art Boulder’ bird logo wall sign featuring vibrant artwork celebrating Boulder, Colorado's landmarks, wildlife, outdoor recreation, and community life

Large original Twitter Inc. 'Larry Art Boulder' bird logo wall sign, constructed of printed metal and measuring 57˝ x 47˝. The oversized sign features the iconic Twitter bird silhouette filled with a colorful collage of imagery celebrating Boulder and Colorado, including local landmarks, outdoor recreation, wildlife, community themes, and a Grateful Dead bear. According to the original HGP Asset Company auction records, the piece is identified as "Twitter 'Larry Art Boulder'" and originated from Twitter's Boulder operations. In fine condition.

Twitter established a presence in Boulder in 2014 through its acquisition of the local social media data company Gnip, expanding the city into an important engineering and product development hub. In 2020, the company consolidated its Boulder operations into a newly built 65,000-square-foot office at The Railyards at S'Park. Following Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter in 2022 and the company's subsequent rebranding as X, the Boulder office was vacated in 2023 after X Corp. was evicted from the property following a dispute over unpaid rent. Original office display pieces associated with Twitter's corporate facilities are seldom encountered.

Note: The winning bidder is responsible for the cost of shipping the sign from its current storage facility in San Francisco to its final destination. Please call RR Auction for more details.
