Two large double-sided illuminated Apple Computer dealer signs produced for the European market, both featuring the iconic six-color Apple ‘rainbow’ logo. The first sign displays the black Apple logotype on both faces and measures 27˝ x 17.5˝ x 5.75˝; and the second sign, measuring 25.5˝ x 30˝ x 5.5˝, features an oversized rainbow Apple logo above the wording “Apple Center,” Apple's network of authorized retail dealers. Constructed with molded white acrylic housings surrounding internal metal frames, both signs retain their original suspension eyelets, wall-mount brackets, and European power cords and plugs, and were designed for either suspended or perpendicular wall mounting outside authorized Apple retailers. The signs reportedly originated from an Italian computer store and was later acquired through a Monaco sign dealer. In overall fine, fully operational condition, with expected light surface wear and scuffs. Representing Apple's celebrated rainbow-logo era, the signs date to the period when the company expanded its international retail presence throughout Europe and established dedicated Apple Center dealerships. The rainbow Apple logo served as Apple's corporate emblem from 1977 until 1998 and remains one of the most recognizable symbols in computing history.
