Original circa 1981 oversized 19 x 14 one-page print of a two-page Apple/Scientific American advertisement, given by Steve Jobs to his father, Paul, who proudly displayed it in the family room of the Jobs family home in Los Altos, California—famous as the 'Apple Garage' property, which is referenced in the text. The ad features Steve Jobs as the "25-year-old who is programming the future with personal computers," and carries a prescient passage, beginning: "In 1975, a revolution began in the computer industry. Working in a garage, Steven Jobs and his partner, Stephen Wozniak, produced by hand the prototype for a remarkable new kind of computer that, today, is on the verge of changing the way America does business, the way it goes to school and, most likely, the way America thinks." Framed and in very good to fine condition, with light overall rippling from moisture exposure.
