Description

Collection of 11 Apple promotional material from the mid-1980s, highlighted by three large-format Apple posters produced for the French market, including a 26.75 x 39 Steve Jobs advertising poster in which the Apple co-founder describes the personal computer as “a new kind of bicycle,” a 23.5 x 34.25 international “The Personal Computer” product-line poster showcasing Apple's expanding hardware and software ecosystem, and a 23.5 x 31.25 Christmas-themed Apple France promotional poster depicting Santa Claus seated beside an Apple computer.

Includes eight French-language Apple publications dating from 1985–1986, documenting the growth of Apple's user community and educational network in France during the Macintosh's formative years. Included are two issues of L'Echo des Apple (November 1985 and February 1986), one issue of Pomme Ouverte (No. 11), and four issues of Apple Hebdo (Nos. 29, 30, 35, and 38, including the publication's final issue). The newsletters and magazines feature contemporary coverage of Apple products, software, user groups, training programs, and Macintosh adoption in France.

In overall very good to fine condition, with the posters featuring varying degrees of wear, including foxing, edge tears, creasing, missing corners, and old tape remnants.
