Group of six Olympic diplomas dating from the Grenoble 1968 Winter Olympics through the Seoul 1988 Summer Olympics, ranging in size from 11.75 x 16.5 to 12.5 x 17.5, highlighted by two official Seoul 1988 diplomas awarded to gold medal-winning Soviet basketball players Valdemaras Chomičius (Khomitchious) and Rimas Kurtinaitis for first place in men’s basketball at the Games of the XXIV Olympiad. Also included are a Montreal 1976 diploma awarded to Soviet basketball player Alzhan Zharmukhamedov for a bronze medal finish in men’s basketball, and two Moscow 1980 Olympic diplomas recognizing cooperation during the Games of the XXII Olympiad, one issued to Tamara Petrovna Shirokova. Completing the group is a Grenoble 1968 Winter Olympics diploma issued to Jacques Redier. In overall fine condition, with expected handling wear, creasing, and a tear to the Grenoble diploma, which is accompanied by its original tube.
