Original red-and-yellow 38 x 28.25 concert poster for a series of performances by The Clash at the Lyceum Ballroom, near The Strand, in London, England, between October 18–26, 1981. The poster features a design by artist Futura 2000, a frequent collaborator with the band. Rolled and in very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, a heavier vertical crease, and some faint staining. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
The Clash’s seven-night residency at the Lyceum Ballroom in October 1981, part of the Radio Clash tour, featured graffiti artist Futura 2000 painting live onstage and included early performances of Combat Rock material, with intense, high-energy shows often stretching to nearly 30 songs.
