Group of nine original photographs by David Gahr, various finishes, the majority 10 x 8, picturing various scenes and rock stars of the 1960s and 1970s, including: the Everly Brothers at the 1969 Newport Folk Festival; a contact sheet of David Bromberg in New York City in 1973; two photos of David Byrne in the recording studio in 1989; The J. Geils Band; Jeff Beck in 1989; the Allman Brothers at Gaelic Park in NYC, on July 17, 1972; and two crowd shots at Gaelic Park from the famed Allman Brothers show on July 17, 1972, which featured guest performances of Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, and Bill Kreutzmann of the Grateful Dead. Several are stamped on the reverse with the photographer's copyright, with Gahr also titling five in his own hand. In overall fine condition.

David Gahr (1922–2008) was an American photographer whose work spanned more than five decades, featuring musicians such as Phil Spector, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Miles Davis, Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison, Janis Joplin, Sonny Terry, John Lennon, Aretha Franklin, and Johnny Cash, among others. His book, The Face of Folk Music, with writer Robert Shelton, captured the exploding American Folk music scene.
