American photographer (1937-2020) best known for his work in the late 1960s for the music magazine Rolling Stone, becoming the magazine's first chief photographer from 1967 until late 1970. Grouping of seven photographs by Baron Wolman of iconic rock stars, 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 8.5, each signed/initialed in the lower border in ink by Wolman, who also adds their respective titles: “Duane Allman, Memphis, 1969,” “Johnny Cash, Redwood City, 1967,” “Jerry Garcia, San Francisco 1969,” “Kris Kristofferson, Los Angeles 1970,” “Grateful Dead, Golden Gate Park 1967,” and two titled as “Janis Joplin, San Francisco 1967. The reverse of each photo bears a uniquely numbered “Baron Wolman Photo” label. In overall fine to very fine condition.
