Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on two sheets of 11 x 8.75 animation paper. Each image measures about 4.5 x 2.5. Attractively double-matted and framed to an overall size of 33.5 x 18.5. Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking-Glass, Thru the Mirror follows Mickey as he falls asleep and dreams he steps through his mirror into a surreal world of living furniture, dancing gloves, and playing cards, ending in a chase after he angers the King of Hearts by dancing with the Queen.
