Unique author's presentation copy of Baa Baa Black Sheep by Col. Gregory 'Pappy' Boyington. First edition. NY: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1958. Hardcover especially bound for the author in full blue calf, cover with gilt ruled border and initials "G. B.," gilt-lettered spine in six compartments with five raised bands, remaining with gilt ruled borders, turn-ins gilt with marbled end papers, and top edges gilt, 6 x 8.5, 384 pages. Book condition: VG/None, with some very minor bumps and creases to binding, and evidence of mild moisture staining to fore-edges, and a darker stain to the last few pages of the book.
