Excellent original 4.25 x 6.5 cabinet photo of Long Feather in a stoic, front-facing pose, wearing a beaded buckskin jacket, a single hair feather, and an enormous crucifix, as captured by David Francis Barry, a pioneering photographer of the American West. Imprinted on the mount: "D. F. Barry, West Superior, Wis.," with Barry's likeness of Chief Gall illustrated on the reverse, along with an advertisement for "Photographs of All the Noted Indians." In fine condition.
