Description

Uncommon original 4.25 x 6.5 cabinet photo of Annie Oakley wearing a cowboy hat in a forthright pose, published by Baker's Art Gallery of Columbus, Ohio, with her facsimile signature imprinted on the mount. In very good to fine condition, with small surface impressions to her neck, and a crease and associated small are of emulsion loss to the lower right corner of the image.

Provenance: from the collection of her husband Frank Butler's brother William, and accompanied by a family letter of provenance; originally sold at Heritage Auctions, June 10, 2012.
