Fantastic collection of four Beta patches taken from Apollo 14 LMP Edgar Mitchell's training space suit, affixed to a navy blue 16.5 x 17 fabric swatch, identified by a plaque at the top: "These articles taken from garments worn by Cdr. E. Mitchell during Apollo 14, 1972 [sic], Given to Elizabeth My Daughter." Ranging in size from 3.5 x 1 to 4.5 x 4, the patches include Mitchell's nameplate ("E. Mitchell"), the American flag, NASA's 'meatball' logo, and the Apollo 14 mission insignia. In fine condition, with overall wear, rubbing, and light staining from use in training for the Apollo 14 mission. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Elizabeth Kendall, the daughter of Edgar Mitchell.
