Original vintage glossy 8 x 10 press photo of Marilyn Monroe wearing a beautiful floral dress and standing next to comic actor Red Buttons on the roof of the Astor Hotel, the venue for the East of Eden world premiere after party, which debuted at the Astor Theatre in New York City on March 9, 1955, as a benefit for the Actors Studio. The reverse bears an affixed caption and a David Workman Photography stamp, and the front contains editorial tape remnants to the top and right borders. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creases. Encapsulated by PSA as an authentic 'Type I' photograph, circa 1955.
