Rare gilt ‘I.O.C. Member’ badge from the 61st International Olympic Committee session held in Baden-Baden, West Germany, in 1963, measuring 58 mm x 25 mm, 29 gm, featuring a blue-and-silver session logo at left, and the Olympic rings in color above engraved text: “Membre du C.I.O.” The reverse bears an E. Ferdinand Wiedmann of Frankfurt stamp. In fine condition, with slight scuffing. On this occasion, Mexico City was selected as the host for the Games of the XIX Olympiad.
