Description

Fantastic trio of gold Apple Computer employee anniversary pins from the personal collection of longtime Apple engineer and manager Norbert Zobler:

- an 18K gold-and-diamond five-year Apple pin, featuring the company’s iconic Apple logo inset with five full cut diamonds, marked "18K" on the reverse. Awarded in 1986.

- an 18K gold-and-diamond ten-year Apple pin, featuring the company’s iconic Apple logo inset with ten full cut diamonds, marked "18K" on the reverse. Awarded in 1991.

- a 14K gold fifteen-year Apple pin, featuring the company’s iconic Apple logo stamped with "XV" Roman numerals, marked "14K" on the reverse. Awarded in 1997.

In overall very fine condition. All are housed in their original hinged jewelry boxes: the five-year jewelry box is in very fine condition, the ten-year and fifteen-year jewelry boxes exhibit exterior wear and flaking from age.

Also includes one of Zobler's original Apple Computer business cards (as "QuickTime Conferencing 4Windows Project Mgr."), signed in black ballpoint; a print of the Apple Care Warranty coverage brochure using Norbert’s image, signed in black ballpoint; and a framed 1988 GenRad article highlighting Norbert’s "In-Circuit & Functional System" integration achievement.

Norbert Zobler worked at Apple Computer from 1981-1994, and 1995-1997, as Design Project Manager, Service Manager, Engineer: Led project teams in three continents delivering the QuickTime Conferencing ISDN solution, drove PowerBook 150 LCD design, and designed first industry integrated In-Circuit-Test & Functional equipment for high-volume repair.
