Large 1828 campaign medal for Andrew Jackson, 1.5˝ in diameter, 17 gm, the front featuring an embossed left-facing profile portrait of Jackson encircled with text, “Andrew Jackson, President of the United States, 1829,” and the reverse bearing an American eagle in relief surrounded by stars. The upper portion bears a hole for display purposes. The medal shows noticeable tarnishing.
