Uncommon bronze-tone medal from the 49th International Olympic Committee session held in Athens, Greece, in 1954, 81 gm, measuring 55 mm in diameter, depicting an ancient Olympic athlete on the front. A French legend on the reverse reads (translated): "LX Anniversary of the Renovation of the Olympic Games, Athens, 1894–1954." Complete with its original case.
