Description

Texas Film Hall of Fame award presented to one of television’s most iconic stars, the gorgeous Farrah Fawcett

Texas Film Hall of Fame award presented to actress Farrah Fawcett in 2003, measuring 11˝ in diameter and standing 13˝ in height, the award features a silver-tone film reel with a central faux-rust star and an inner rope coil, the end of which bears a leather tab embossed with the recipient’s name, “Farrah Fawcett.” The reel stands atop a canister with a bronze-tone plaque to the front, “Texas Film Hall of Fame,” all of which is set upon a circular wooden base. In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of provenance signed by Fawcett’s nephew, and a printed color photo of Fawcett holding the offered award.

Founded in 2001, the Texas Film Hall of Fame honors Texans who have made a significant contribution to film or filmmaking, as well as non-Texans who have made significant strides in the advancement of the Texan film industry. Fawcett, a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, was presented the award by actor Dabney Coleman, her costar in the TV show The Guardian. She was one of four inductees in 2003, a quartet that also included Horton Foote, Woody Harrelson, and Tobe Hooper.
