Document in Italian, one page, 6.75 x 9.75, August 17, 1966. Official birth certificate issued by the "Comune di Bisacquino, Provincia di Palermo," certifying the birth of "Francesco Capra" on May 18, 1897. Signed at the conclusion in ink by a civil servant. In fine condition. Accompanied by some related documents, including a letter to "Mr. Capra" enclosing the document, a carbon copy of Capra's letter thanking the city's mayor for sending it, and Capra's retained copy of a telegram asking that "documentary proof of birth date" be sent to Columbia Studios in Hollywood at his expense.
