(Walt Disney Studios, 1939) Original concept model sheet drawing of the Big Bad Wolf by Frank Follmer for the Silly Symphonies short film The Practical Pig. The model sheet contains over 10 conceptual sketches of the film’s antagonist, including full-figure poses of the wolf in disguise as a mailman and mermaid, and close-up sketches of his head, hands, and feet. Accomplished in graphite on untrimmed 12 x 9 artist paper, with the lower right entitled, “The Practical Pig, RS-7,” and signed by Follmer with his initials, "F. F.” In fine condition, with some light toning to the edges.
