The all-white box features a simple embossed design to the top, “[Apple logo] Watch,” with a label to the right end, and specifications to the underside of the box. In brand new, factory-sealed condition.
Announced in September 2016, the Apple Watch Series 1 improved on its 1st generation predecessor by incorporating a variant of the dual-core Apple S2 processor, which offered faster performance for apps and interface responsiveness. Key specs include an 8 GB storage capacity, 512 MB of RAM, a Retina OLED display (312 × 390 pixels for the 42 mm model), and up to 18 hours of battery life under typical use. It shared the same aluminum 42.5 × 36.4 × 10.5 mm case and roughly 30-gram weight as earlier models, but added the improved S1P chip. The Series 1 marked Apple’s transition to a more performance-focused smartwatch line.
