Lot of itinerary documents from Prince’s legendary Purple Rain Tour of North America, which began on November 4, 1984, at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan, and concluded on April 7, 1985, at the Purple Bowl Stadium in Miami, Florida. The lot is highlighted by a stapled 19-page “PRN Productions, Inc.” packet containing a complete itinerary of the 99-show tour, which contains various ink and pencil notations; a 55-inch long “Purple Rain Tour” contact list marked “How to Reach me After the Tour”; and various revised itinerary sheets, and update memos issued to the “Leeds Group” for updated travel arrangements. In overall very good to fine condition, with scattered wear and stains.
From the collection of Susie Davis, former keyboard player for Sheila E., who toured with legendary artists such as Prince, Mick Jagger, Billy Idol, Van Morrison, Sinead O'Connor, and many others. Davis performed with Prince and the Revolution during the Purple Rain Tour.
