German-French painter (1904–1989) known for his gestural abstract style. He was also a decorated World War II veteran of the Legion d'honneur. Three French-language greeting cards signed in ink or felt tip by German-French painter Hans Hartung, ranging in size from 6.25 x 4.75 to 11 x 4.25, signed either “Hans” or Hans H.,” who signs two cards on behalf of his wife, the Norwegian abstract expressionist artist Anna-Eva Bergman. Includes two ALSs from Anna-Eva Bergman, both on the reverse of postcards, who also signs on behalf of her husband. In overall fine condition.
