Collection of 15 vintage crew and tour t-shirts from various Rolling Stones concerts and tours between 1981 and 2003, various sizes, which is highlighted by a group of seven t-shirts from the Rolling Stones’ 1981 American Tour, which includes shirts issued for JFK Stadium on September 25 and 26, 1981 (with Journey and George Thorogood), San Diego Stadium on October 7, 1981 (with J. Geils Band and George Thorogood), New Orleans Superdome on December 5, 1981 (with J. Geils Band and the Neville Brothers), (2) Los Angeles Coliseum on October 9 and 11, 1981 (with J. Geils Band, George Thorogood, and Prince), Dallas Cotton Bowl, October 31 and November 1, 1981 (with ZZ Top and the Fabulous Thunderbirds), and a “Happy Birthday, Keith” shirt, Hampton Coliseum on December 18, 1981, when the Stones played the first-ever pay-per-view music broadcast on television, which coincided with Keith Richards' 38th birthday.
Other shirts include: (2) European Tour 1982; (2) 1989 Steel Wheels Tour, one for the band’s shows at the Los Angeles Coliseum on October 18-19 and 21-22, 1989 (with Guns ‘N Roses and Living Colour); Keith Richards and the X-Pensive Winos 1992-1993 World Tour; 1994-1995 Voodoo Lounge World Tour; and (2) 2002-2003 Rolling Stones Licks Tour. Also included is an XL black sweatshirt for the band’s 2007 European Tour, marked “Local Crew,” and an XL black North End Wear jacket for the 2003 Toronto Rocks festival held in Downsview Park on July 30, 2003, which lists bands like the Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Rush, and The Guess Who. In overall very good to fine condition, with wear from use, including varying degrees of toning and staining, and removed collar and sleeves to the JFK Stadium shirt.
