Two signed books: a spiral-bound hardcover copy of Watercolor Technique in Fifteen Lessons, published in 1954, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "Fair Sailing with watercolor, Eleanor! Rex Brandt 5-28-54," with the addition of a marvelous watercolor painting of a sailing scene; and Earle Chesney's hardcover sketchbook, 11 x 9.25, marked on the front cover, "Sketches," containing 11 pages of original sketches (most double-sided), accomplished in various inks, with several blank pages. Subjects of Chesney's sketches include Franklin D. Roosevelt, Senator Edward R. Burke, Rep. Edwin Taylor, and a remarkable spread of caricatures of presidents of the United States from George Washington to Woodrow Wilson In very good to fine condition, with separated pages and spine-sunning to the Chesney sketch book.
