Appealing set of five 19th-century engravings of notable Civil War battles, each approximately 11 x 8.5, which includes the following titles: “Attack Upon Roanoke Island – Landing of the Troops” (Johnson, Fry & Co.); “Battle of Lookout Mountain, GA” (Virtue & Yorston); “Bombardment of Port Royal, S.C.” (Virtue & Co.); “Charleston, S.C. and its Vicinity” (J. Wells / W. Ridgway); and “Naval Conflict in Hampton Roads – Action Between the Monitor & Merrimac” (Johnson, Fry & Co.). In overall very good to fine condition, with scattered staining, primarily in the borders.
