Poignant pair of 8´ x 5´ nylon American flags that were flown over the United States Capitol on September 11, 2005, in honor of those who perished in the September 11th attacks four years earlier. Accompanied by one printed presentation certificate from Architect of the Capitol Alan M. Hartman, in full: "This is to certify that the accompanying flag was flown over the United States Capitol on September 11, 2005, at the request of the Honorable Harold E. Ford Jr., Member of Congress. This flag was flown in remembrance of those who perished in the September 11th attack." In overall fine condition. Accompanied by both original boxes.
