Arriflex 16mm film magazine modified for use on the Space Shuttle, measuring 8.75˝ x 7˝ x 3.25˝, marked on the bottom, "Film Magazine, Arri., SED33102522-302, S/N 1041." The magazine has a label marked "Daylight Spools" and bears typical affixed blue Velcro swatches. A note on the opposite side reads: "Canister Found at Landing w/ Film Exposed." In fine condition. NASA used specially modified Arriflex 16mm movie cameras throughout the early Space Shuttle program. Much of the onboard footage prior to the introduction of digital technology was captured using the Arriflex cameras.
