Limited edition color 22.5 x 26.5 high-quality lithograph of Bob Seidemann’s controversial cover design for the self-titled debut album from Blind Faith, which was released by Atco Records and Polydor Records in August 1969, numbered AP 7/20, signed in the lower border in pencil by Seidemann. The image, which Seidemann titled ‘Blind Faith,’ became the inspiration for the name of the band itself, which had been unnamed when the artwork was commissioned. Printed on Quintessence 100lb dull cover acid-free paper and published by Record Art in 1991. In very fine condition. This was published as part of a portfolio by Record Art of New York, circa 1990, in an edition of 200 plus 20 artist proofs. An example of this print is part of the collection of London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.
