Scarce vintage matte-finish 6.75 x 9.25 photo of Richard Strauss holding his conductor's baton, neatly signed and inscribed in fountain pen in German, "Herrn Hofkapellmeister Hermann Rutzschbach…D. Richard Strauss, Berlin, 24.1.16.” In fine condition, with tack holes, and small creases, to the corners. A fantastic pose with a desirable association, presented from one conductor to another. Encapsulated and graded by PSA/DNA as "GEM MT 10."
