Souvenir typescript on an off-white 6.25 x 8.5 sheet of personal letterhead with an embossed presidential eagle, signed in blue felt tip, "Gerald R. Ford, 3/6/01." The statement, which regards the findings of the Warren Commission following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, in full: "In 1964, the Warren Commission unanimously decided: 1. Lee Harvey Oswald was the assassin, and 2. The Commission found no evidence of a conspiracy, foreign or domestic. As a member of the Commission, I endorsed those conclusions in 1964 and fully agree now as the sole surviving Commission member." In very fine condition. Encapsulated and graded by PSA/DNA as "GEM MT 10."
