Scarce original Nike black wool beret made in limited quantities for Prince’s 1990 Nude Tour, size medium, with one side bearing Prince’s ‘love symbol’ in purple thread with central stitched lettering, “Prince Nude,” and the other featuring additional lettering, “Rock-It Cargo.” In fine condition.
From the collection of Marylou Badeaux, a former executive at Warner Bros. Records who worked closely with Prince on a variety of projects. Badeaux notes that Prince had approximately 75 of these berets specially made for his Nude Tour crew.
