Ballpoint signature and inscription of John Lennon’s aunt, "To Jackie, Best wishes, Mimi Smith,” on a blue 2.5 x 2 sheet. In fine condition, with a tiny tape stain to the upper left corner tip. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks, and by a letter of provenance from the original recipient: “Schoolfriends and I travelled on the bus to Liverpool. We called first at the Cavern and then went to Aunt Mimi's house on Menlove Avenue. She was always pleased to see fans and she invited us in for tea and biscuits. There was many pictures of John in the front room and we talked about The Beatles and on one occasion she said to us that we'd just missed John and that he'd just been on the phone from America, that was on the third visit to Aunt Mimi.”
