American artist (born 1959) with ties to both the Pop Art and Outsider Art movements, whose paintings incorporate the use of silkscreen or serigraphy on various mediums including wood, canvas, and paper. Original color 22.25 x 30 multi-layered silkscreen painting by pop artist Peter Mars entitled ‘Hot Storm,’ presented as part of his series dedicated to Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman of The Fantastic Four, created from early Marvel Comics images and crafted by hand-pulling acrylic paints through original 1900s redwood silkscreen frames and placed on heavyweight archival paper, signed in the lower right corner in gold ink by Mars, whose blindstamp is present to the lower left corner.
